Vale Jewelry & Poppy Finch- My All Time Favourites

My love for fashion and jewelry doesn't just evolve around what the pieces look like but also where they are coming from and how they are made.
Violette Boutique is one of downtown Victoria's jewelry stores created by an amazing mum and daughter team. They carry many of my favourite jewelry brands including Vale Jewelry, a New York based company with a unique take on jewelry with ethically sourced diamonds and recycled gold.
Honestly i think Vale Jewelry might be one of my all time favourites. I love looking at their Instagram feed to see engagement photos of couples who proposed with their rings, its so cute and absolutely beautiful. Their pieces are like none you will have ever seen as they are all unique in their own way. Varying gems give you endless colour and shape options and the ability to choose white, yellow or rose gold on select pieces makes it easier to get what you really want. I own several pieces from Vale jewelry including rings, a necklace and a few of their gorgeous earrings, some of which I will link below. I of course can't wait to expand my Vale Jewelry collection with several already on my wishlist!
Anyone out there with sensitive ears like me can relate to the issue of how hard it is to find solid gold earrings and both the brands I'm mentioning make solid gold pieces at varying prices. It can definitely be a struggle but after learning about them at Violette it became so much easier and I actually started wearing earrings again.
Side note: I have three piercings on each ear with two cartilage piercings on the left. Finding earrings I can actually wear has been something I've struggled with since I was 15 when I got my first piercing with my sensitivity as I've learned by trial and error gold fill and gold plate don't work either. Since my first piercing the only earrings I have owned were the ones I received when I got them done initially. It didn't feel like something I could change because I hadn't found the right ones.
The next jewelry company is Poppy Finch which is a Vancouver based company creating unique gold pieces from earrings, rings, necklaces and more. Their pieces are so dainty yet edgy and are also made with recycled gold and ethically sourced gems. The fact that they are BC based is the main thing that drew me to them. As I previously mentioned earrings being an issue for me when I found out that their pieces are 14k gold I wanted to add some to my collection.
These two companies are by far my favourites after learning more and starting to love the world of jewelry so much more. They give you ethical, beautiful, unique pieces and their styles give me the ability to find the best edgy and delicate jewelry. I also happen to be a sucker for pretty packaging and, well, they both have it!
